Anyone out and seeing bugs hatching yet?
I'm sure the LBS are still going strong and it should be an early year for many hatches given the mild, warm winter we had for the most part. Let's hear what you are seeing and doing out there. I need motivation this year just to buy my All Around Sportsman license, by far the latest I have ever waited!

I got out last week and they were taking lbs nymphs. There were a few lbs in the air but not laying eggs. Did not see a rise.

I was out today, Bwo, brown stones, lbs, midges..caught a sweet little wild brown in the gorge..

I was out two weeks ago and saw LBS crawling on rocks, went out yesterday and saw none, did see midges.

Of course, as I get the bug to trout fish and am feeling near 100% again, it's going to rain another 2"-3" this week after the 1.9" we got here last week. At least it will disperse the fresh stocked bows once the state starts their bridge dumps. I find myself doing nearly all of my trout fishing out of state and for wild fish only these days, when I take the time to fish at all that is. Keep the posts coming!

Fished the South Branch yesterday. LBS's were flying all over the place but no egg laying activity which I was hoping for as the trout sometimes will feed topwater on the egg layers. Cfs was 335 which may have hindered egg laying activity. Planning on going out tomorrow and hopefully getting some dry fly action on egg layers.
