Just was there on Saturday on a bourbon run (Do Good Spirits is on the next block over from Catskill Flies). Both the Willow and Beaverkill had good heads of water in them.

Good luck.

Hi, I will be going up the 2nd. week in June to fish the Dun Variant,Lt. Cahill, caddis fly hatches. Wanted to go up the first week in June but couldn’t make it. I was up the end of the first week in May and did fair to poor. So hoping next time will be better. Bill

I'm up June 2-5 myself with my Trout Louts crew on the West Branch and other rivers up there. It's Bug Week after all!

Well back to work today😭
Overall gr8 trip...nice cool temps the first few days...didnt really get hot until sunday....spinner falls were pretty epic with march brown spinners by evening and iso spinners early morning....Saturday evening threw a curve with vast amounts of coffin flies!!!didnt see even one on the two prior evenings.....most mornings about 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. gave up thick cornuta hatches with fast action fishing....sunday ,monday , tuesday only fished early morning at the beav due to unfishable afternoon water temps, but the upper east had hot evening action so all good...The amount of beautiful mcloud rainbows inhabiting the beaverkill is amazing to say the least!!! Good luck to all heading up there...With last night and todays rain, there is finally some good water in all the systems so fishing should be gr8 this comming week

Back to the grind today😭
Fished Saturday early afternoon and monday morning...

Saturday headed to the upper east ,water temps 43....sulphers got goin fish started showin and a nasty downpour ended that action...made a mile er so wiggle downstream and after a little waiting had some fish starting to show, thats when a large floatilla of about ten er so yakers and canoes came through....fish would go down fer 15-20 mins, start to show again and then another flotilla ...rinse and repeat a few times so i said F it and left.....holiday weekend and everyone has their own form of fun so all good...

Monday morning air temps were 49 so i checked the beaverkill temps and they were 63....gtg hit the lower fer an hour and got an older 17" brown....not much fer bugs so i wiggled to the lower west....water temps 54... caught a bunch of 6-8" rainbows at sheehawkin but they were the only guys feeding on top....wiggled above the bridge a ways and landed a pretty 16" brown in the flat water that was basically junk feeding..called it a day and headed back to home base....all fish caught on a size 20 cdc olive comparadun
