Caught this bass July 17th
And then again last night. You can yell by the black dot on its head. Barely visible in both shots but its there. Spruce run resevoir...

There is not much that you cant catch with the old night crawler! They were working great for the large brook trout in that Vermont pond when cut in little sections on a tiny jig. I catch white perch on them. Any bass and pan fish species and catfish too. Were you dead sticking it or were you jigging it?

If I could choose five lures/baits for all species it would be night crawler, mepps #2 spinner, 1/16 oz jig with with a twister tail, a royal wulff, and a Hares ear nymph

It hit the water and was taken...otherwise dead sticking, looking for big cats mostly, but catching white perch, smallmouth, largemouth and cats...an occasional hybrid...

Anyone wants to join me. Monday evenings, I am usually at the boat launch or the point, but that is dried up..also maybe the little pull out along Van Syckles....I may not be there but usually am.
