Cacoosing Creek Tributary to Tulpehocken - Dam Removed

Post by cappy » Sun Jul 24, 2022 12:29 pm

Anyone who fishes the Tully, I heard the dam on the Cacoosing was removed, and there was no sediment control, it all went down stream with lots more work to do that will stir up even more sediment.

I moved this to Conservation where it is a better fit.

That's not good if true. Most states here in the northeast will never allow any significant release of sediment when removing dams. All of our up front work revolves around the type and amount and location of sediment in the channel above the dam to be removed. That is what drives most of the costs.
