No mention of fish, fishermen, trout or Trout Unlimited. No mention of dam removal etc., just a lengthy discussion on climate change.

It's RHS's annual conference about the health of the watershed, not about what groups like TU are or are not doing. It is about improving water quality and purchasing floodplain properties to reduce flooding and increase the functionality of the watershed. It's about monitoring water chemistry and working with landowners throughout the watershed to protect critical drinking water supplies. RHA and TU enjoy a very close working relationship. It may not be a very public one, but I can assure you it is alive and well. The only things I did yesterday were to benefit TU/RHA projects here on the upper Raritan basin.

This RHS conference sounds interesting and now I'm thinking I'd like to attend others (or do you need a membership?).

Non-profits like RHA, TU, etc. must allow the general public to attend any open meetings, so the answer is no, you don't need to be a member. But please consider joining as my firm has because they do amazing work and are about to enter the river restoration business in a big way.

Ok thanks.
