2018 Dropbacks

I have not been up to the salmon river this spring but from all the reports I see the drop back seasons is going well and going strong!! If anyone is able to make a trip please report back here!

was on my list late last year, but work+family events are putting a kabosh on any trip nawth this spring.

...been writing that for too many years now... maybe, just maybe, looming retirement may change that ....

Im right there with you. Only made it up once in the early season and it was a bust. Now it looks like most of my weekends are booked up for a while. Also, my damn waders leak so I have to send those off to Simms once I get a chance.

My son and I went last week only 3 1/2 days. Big numbers and the fish have recovered and strong. Hachery is almonst empty as of 1 week ago. Should last a little longer as water and air temp still cold. 38 degrees in morning.

Awesome! Glad you did well. This year was terrible for me to get up there. So maybe next......
