RAHWAY RIVER TU OPEN TYING NIGHT

Post by cowboyfan » Wed Nov 28, 2018 8:21 am

We are having an open fly tying night this Monday. If you read the previous post, you will get all the details. Last tying night one if our members, Mike A. gave a demonstration on the uses of the Marc Petijean tool. It opened up a bunch of new possibilities for patterns. This upcoming meeting Kevin will bring in some bird skins and show us what to look for in picking out certain feathers for specific patterns. As always, the tying nights are free and open to all. You do not need to be a member of TU to attend. We have free coffee and donuts. I will teach the beginners that attend. We have donated vices, tools and tying materials.
Date: Monday December 3
Time: 7-9pm
Where: Cranford Community Center 220 Walnut Ave. Cranford

I hope to see some new faces.

It was good to present to RRTU last night on river restoration and see some familiar faces along with some new faces!
