Little Lehigh Fly Shop

Post by Johnw » Wed Nov 14, 2018 4:06 pm

The LL Fly Shop has closed. Apparently being flooded several times this year plus less than robust business was why Dave decided to give it up. Nice man, I wish him well.

Not worth the trip anymore in my opinion.

Going back many years, I remember a guy named Rod who used to own the shop. If I recall, he was an investment banker or something like that? He would often be in there with the wood stove going. I guess he sold it to this other fellow Dave? I'm out of the loop

He moved out to Colorado after he sold the shop to Dave if I remember correctly. Lately I've been getting emails from him offering fly tying classes but I don't know from where.

Rod is alive and well. I get his emails offering speaking to my TU chapter fairly often. I do know he and his wife went on a big travel adventure once he sold the shop several years back.
