50 Degrees Saturday
Weather was 50 degrees and rainy on Saturday so I decided to go out in the afternoon for a few hours before dark. First hook up of the day was this rainbow, and was one of the bigger rainbows I have ever caught in NJ. He was about the size of my net (which I meant to measure and completely forgot). He swam out of my net before I was able able to get a better picture. Not proud to admit I caught him on a san juan worm (but it WAS raining hard that day ). Not a single other hookup that evening, which I was very surprised about.

We done.
Nothing wrong with a worm fly. Every stream has aquatic worms, and land based worms enter the stream after a rain.
