I was thinking about hitting the No Kill area of Big Flatbrook while the weather is nice. But it's a long drive for me. I was wondering if anyone has been there recently and could give me some advice on whether it would be worth my while.
I was there about a week after the fall stocking and didn't see any trout in the usual spots. Granted, the stream level was very low then, and should be better following the recent rains

The Big Flat is currently flowing at 72.3 cfs which is decent for this time of year. I'd bet you catch fish.
I would think it's worth a trip even just for a good walk through the autumn woods. Let us know how you do.

I hit Flat Brook No Kill area downstream of Warner's Hole today and got nothing. The stream level was pretty good. Ran into a couple other guys who had the same experience. I don't know where the put the trout they stocked in October.
Anyway, it was great day to be out. Can't beat fly fishing on a 70 degree sunny day in November.

I was there yesterday. Decent flows, gin clear water. No fish.
