patience is rewarded !!!

I took 15 years to fish it. But it finally happened today. started off bad this am. My net unleashes & floats down river. Then my lures get snagged twice. But then then beauty comes chomps on my lure . safely released to fight another day. started to fish down river. Then I seen my net. recovered it back. Life doesnt get better then that folks !!!!

thats why I wanted to fish it before it goes down . It looks pretty deep @ the spill way. then quickly shallows out.

Typical of a dam's plunge pool. Very deep, but very short in length unlike a healthy pool which will be shallower most of the time, but much longer in length.
