Those in south jersey who are interested in fly tying and in casting instruction, should visit the South Jersey Coastal Fly Anglers who meet in Ocean City, once a month, all year long.

Mostly older group, but very experienced with some quality tyers, and instruction available. The monthly programs are meant to teach.

Only plug I’ll use (no counter pun intended)

There is also the Atlantic Saltwater Flyrodders, meet in Seaside Park. As the name says, Saltwater.

Many of the TU chapters also offer fly tying courses, especially in winter months.
