I'm surprised no one has started a 'pay to fish' set up, similar to the pheasant/chukar/quail hunting preserves. Used to be a few for private lakes/ponds around the state, and there was Eldridge Preserve in the Catskills, but it's gone upscale. There is one in central NJ and a few pay to fish place...

I was part of a club for 1 year on the South Branch and got some really nice fish there I enjoyed. It was great at the time because I worked close by

I have been pan fish fishing at a stocked stream from the spring and have seen trout still around as of last week.

I put in the angler survey to end the stockings of the last 2 weeks of the spring and shift those fish into the fall. I think it would be great to up the fall stocking from ~20K of trout to closer to 50K

I havent been on in awhile either but havent been trout fishing a little warm water fishing here and there.

Its honestly one of my favorite rivers to fish. Only thing is I have never really gotten a big fish out of it

My biggest fish was probably opening day 2009 and i got a 17 inch brook trout
